Investigations

Investigations are the heart and soul of any paranormal group. P.S.S. likes to approach an investigation in a very deliberate manner. All members are thoroughly briefed ahead of time on all facets of the investigation. Everyone knows where they are going to start, who their partner will be if they are going to have one, and what the overall plan of attack is going to be concerning the investigation. Upon completion, members look at any photographic evidence they have obtained as well as listen to their digital recordings, then the founders and case manager look at the very same evidence. This means that at a minimum three sets of eyes and ears have reviewed the evidence.

While this may seem like overkill to many, we feel that this gives us the best possibility of sorting out the good evidence from the bad, which means the customer gets our best informed opinion about what has been taking place.

Listed below you will find some links to what P.S.S. has done so far. You can navigate between the pages or return to the home page from any individual investigation page, or simply use the back button on your browser to return to here.

Submitted photo's from outside sources

My first impression of the photo was smoke, probably cigar or cigarette. However, the gentleman who gave us the picture does not smoke. This I am sure of. The young man is his son, and they were touring Turner Middle School in Warren, Ohio. The school would soon be demolished, and the gentleman, being an alumni, wanted to tour the school before demolition took place. There were no other people in the room at the time, and the camera used was your standard 35mm. I would be interested in hearing your views. re Investigations

Recently, some members appeared on  a local radio station discussing the paranormal. Listeners were allowed to call in and ask questions to the group. This photo was submitted to our group by a caller named Guy. I have included his account of the event.

"As you can see on the picture, it was taken on 9/21/2005. My wife and I were on vacation and spending a couple nights in Gettysburg. We went for one of the town ghost tours and afterwards we decided to go out around the area with our digital camera (Kodak Easy Share - the camera was fairly new, was working fine, lens was clean and was fully charged). We went to, I believe, Cemetery Ridge (the battlefield by the Jennie Wade home), and we were taking pictures around there and then all of a sudden the camera stopped working. The battery indicator showed a low status, and we had to keep turning the camera off and on to get it to work. We thought our evening was done, but we waited a little while and tried it again, and the battery display showed it was fully charged. So we started again taking pictures. We went over to the cemetery; it's the one that used to be across from the old Visitor Center, and were taking pictures there. We walked along the wall of the cemetery and at one point I reached in over the gate and snapped some pictures. This photo them being one of them. It was a clear quiet night; no moon. It was so dark we had trouble seeing ourselves. At the point the picture was taken, there was no traffic nor anyone else around but the two of us.  "

Future Investigations

Update- July 18, 2010  Some members of our group investigated the West Virginia state prison in Moundsville last night! Check back soon for those results. Go to the Moundsville investigation page and scroll down to 2nd investigation. Our group will also be going back to the prison in August for a private investigation with another group from Ohio.
