This investigation took place in February 2010, and was a private residence located in Lordstown, Ohio. The home is occupied by a husband and wife and two children. The events the occupants have reported have consisted of a full body apparition seen by the husband, the wife has had the sensation of being touched and of also seeing a figure in the corner of the dining room. Similar incidents were also witnessed by the youngest son, and both mother and son have caught glimpses of a dog in the house. The family itself does not own a dog.
The parcel where the house sits was once part of a 163 acre parcel owned by one family as far back as 1873. The ground was passed on to family members to family members as owners died, until sometime during the depression when it appears the family lost the ground completely. In 1937, a husband and wife bought the entire piece of land, and continued to use the ground as a farm; it's original purpose. In the 1950's, the owners began to cut out lots for a subdivision. Unfortunately, the development never "took off", and the lots to this day remain vacant. During the 60's and 70's the owners sold off individual parcels to different people. It appears sometime during the 80's that they also lost the ground to a bank, much like the family 50 years prior did. What stuck out to me during my investigation of the property history was that the ground itself seems to have a history of tragedy and sadness.
The group attacked this investigation with all of it's members, and a total of 4 IR cameras and 3 stationary camcorders with separate IR lights on tripods were used on the investigation. Besides the home itself, a separate barn was also investigated. After all the investigation was gone through, we could not find anything in the video, or photo's to substantiate the owner's claims. We did, however, catch some EVP's that lead us to believe that both intelligent and residual haunting's are occurring at the residence. We do not believe the home itself is haunted. Paranormal activity is occurring, but we feel that it's more of the ground itself and not the home. We will be conducting a second investigation during the summer.
The evidence we gathered was limited to EVP's and 1 video clip that we cannot explain. The clip shows myself getting a hit with a piece of equipment in the master bedroom. Ed was able to show that when the bathroom light was turned on, you could get EMF spikes in the bedroom. However, looking at the camera footage we had throughout the house, no person went upstairs when I was in the bedroom (about 5 minutes) and no person entered the bathroom. We are calling this more abnormal than paranormal, but the reading on that particular piece of equipment was quite high, between 2.50 - 3.00. I have also never had this happen to me with this piece of equipment. Again, we have no explanation for the sudden "disappearance" of the energy being picked up.

In EVP 1 Cindy and Amanda are in the barn and the question asked was "do you know the name of the people living here? The response of "Beth" came through the ghost radio, and Beth does live there.
EVP 2 is in the barn and Cindy asks "do you know you're dead?" We hear 2 voices come through the ghost radio with something similar to "death, and dead." Cindy will say something else, and then we feel we hear a child's voice saying "help."
EVP3 is again in the barn and we hear a child's voice say "puppy"
EVP 4 is in the bedroom and a question is asked about the dog. We hear a child answer "it's Bandit"
EVP 5 is in the boy's room and Cindy will ask to try and replicate 3 knocks. We hear 3 knocks in return.
Amanda will ask in EVP 6 do you need to eat or drink. We hear "yes, drink."
EVP 7 consists of Cindy asking a question in the master bedroom if they mean the owner any harm. We hear "no"
EVP 8 is one of different views. The question asked was do you know who the president is? Some people hear "Grover" which may mean Grover Cleveland, others also hear "Lincoln" before Grover.
